View and refund gifted ticket purchases
myTrip operator staff can now view and refund user gift code purchases.
Under 25’s passenger class now available
To better represent the segments of passengers that use bus services, operators can now set up tickets for young people under 25 years of age to sell via the myTrip app or website.
Using Precise Location on iOS
To give your users choices for data sharing, we now support the option to switch off precise location sharing within the iOS app.
Tickets now grouped by coverage area type
To make it quicker and easier for users to find the correct ticket for their journey, we now group the operator's tickets by coverage area type.
Improved usability via iOS Dynamic Type
The iOS app will soon support the users Dynamic Type preference, displaying larger or smaller text depending on the preference set.
Improved ticket purchasing from tracked vehicles
As we welcome more operators to myTrip, we are evolving how we help users easily find the ticket they need when planning journeys. Thank you, as ever, for your feedback and input.
Occupancy level description updates
Following the easing of restrictions across the country, we have updated the descriptions of occupancy levels that users see on apps and websites.
Off-peak and end-of-service tickets available
You can now opt for mobile tickets to be valid until the end of service, as an alternative to tickets that run for their full entitlement following activation.
Introducing operator contact details & improvements to help users find tickets
In the next update users will be able to see a brand logo for each operator that they tap on and an option to view individual operator contact details.
Improved ticket categorisation
As a preliminary step towards the improvement to ticket listing, we mentioned previously we are updating the way ticket listing works to include an additional level of categorisation.
Customer Support now enabled for myTrip in Passenger Cloud
We’ve enabled the Customer Support section of Passenger Cloud for myTrip. This is where you can find and manage customers who have purchased at least one ticket from you.
Destination information available on individual vehicles
Our live vehicle tracking systems can now display a vehicle’s destination, making it easier for users to see where a vehicle is heading at a glance.
Ticket organisation by coverage type
Improved ticket organisation is coming in early January 2021, with the introduction of ticket coverage types in Passenger Cloud. This will allow the organisation of tickets by Area, Service and Academic use.
