Automatically directing gifted tickets to redemption

myTrip users will now be redirected straight to the Redeem page when they are claiming a ticket that has been sent to them.

When a user is sent a ticket from myTrip, they receive an email containing the redeem code alongside a ‘Redeem your ticket’ button.

If they already have myTrip installed, tapping this link will now open the app and take them directly to the Redeem page. This makes ticket redemption faster and easier, by no longer requiring the user to copy and paste a code between their email app and myTrip.

If the user does not have myTrip installed, they will instead be shown a guide for installing the app and redeeming the code.
